In the south of China, Guilin is a land of jagged karst peaks, a meandering river, and a bustling city centre. See the city sites on this city stay from the Reed Flute Cave’s illuminated walk to the iconic Elephant Trunk Hill before your leisurely cruise down the Li River where you can admire, as countless pieces of China’s lore have described, the wonders of this beautifully scenic part of the Middle Kingdom. See the town of Yangshuo, a bustling town of wing tipped roofs and cobblestone streets mixed with an increasingly modern feel, and watch the renowned Impressions of Liu Sanjie show performed on the water in an open-air theatre, do some shopping, or visit the rural countryside for the China you’ve been looking for. If you’re visiting one other place, outside of Beijing, Xian & Shanghai, Guilin may be your best bet.

How many people will be on my trip?
Good things come in small packages, which is why we keep our group sizes down. This means we’re small enough to remain flexible as we thread our way through communities without intimidating the locals. On most of our trips you’ll be part of an intimate group of 12-16 people, though our group sizes are on average 10 people. Our Overland trips are in purpose-built vehicles that can carry up to 24 travellers. Group sizes are displayed on each trip’s overview page on our website.

How can we help you?
